Evolution of Organic will be screened at the Roxie Theater on May 21 at 6pm. This film brings us the story of organic agriculture, told by those who built the movement. A motley crew of back-to-the-landers, spiritual seekers and farmers' sons and daughters who rejected modern chemical farming and set out to invent organic alternatives.

There will be an appearance by filmmaker Mark Kitchell and panel discussion with John Wick of the Marin Carbon Project, Bu Nygrens of Veritable Vegetable and Kim Kaput of Rainbow Grocery.
