Celebrate Earth Day at McMenamins by viewing the documentary, Evolution of Organic, on April 19. Oscar winner Frances McDormand narrates the story of a motley crew of back-to-the-landers, spiritual seekers and farmers' sons and daughters who reject chemical farming and set out to explore organic alternatives. Their heartfelt journey - funny, engaging, informative, and filled with iconic music from the 60s - is what brought organic produce into mainstream markets and established a vision of sustainable agriculture for the future.
